Dr. Dane Mosher began his journey into healthcare at the age of 15 when he read the book "Life Extension" by Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw. Pearson and Shaw opened his eyes that ones health is very much under ones own control and is connected to diet, lifestyle, and nutrition, and that we can improve our health and live longer with fairly simple interventions.

Dane entered medical school with the intention of providing care to all ages. His goal was to be the kind of doctor that he would want to see himself, given his interest in optimizing health and function.

Since completing his post-graduate training in family medicine at East Tennessee State University, Dane has sought out additional training in functional medicine (a root cause approach to healthcare) through the Institute for Functional Medicine, becoming a certified practitioner with them in 2015. He has served the autism community with a functional medicine approach since 2011 through The Johnson Center for Child Health and Development in Austin, Texas.

He expanded his knowledge of how to address hormone imbalances, immune dysfunction, and the deleterious effects of toxins through his service on the board of directors with the American Academy of Environmental Medicine since 2017.

He continues to seek out new information and tools to help his patients work through the problems of modern times. Recent interests include hair tissue mineral analysis, immunotherapy for allergy and autoimmune conditions, medical ozone therapies, and therapies involving light and circadian rhythm optimization.
